insaneladybug 		I have endeavored to write a Monk fic. I think it's the first time that my first fic for any fandom is going to be a multi-chapter!

Title: Mr. Monk and the Lazarus Plot, prologue
Rating: T/PG-13 (for violence and thematic elements)
Spoilers: Mr. Monk and the Magician
Summary: When a doctor's aide is found murdered, Mr. Monk begins to uncover a twisted series of abductions focusing on people who were clinically dead and later revived. To his shock, he also discovers that an old friend is among the kidnapped.

insaneladybug 		What is the general fan consensus on Monk's upstairs neighbor Kevin? Is he annoying? Is he endearing? Both? Or something different?

Did anyone in the cast or crew ever give an explanation as to why they decided to ( SPOILER! )

Also, has anyone ever written fics with Kevin in them or about Monk thinking about Kevin? Trying to look on Fanfiction.net was no help.

insaneladybug 		Wow, it's sad to see this place so dead. Come on, even though there's no new episodes of Monk, there should still be plenty we could talk about!

There's some things I've been wondering in connection with Sharona. I'll throw them out here and see what the rest of you think. I'll put them behind a cut since there's mild spoilers.

It's the one where Randy is drinking soda just about the whole episode. I find this part hilarious! LOL!

tombstone25 		Monk breaks a new rating record before it said goodbye.

“Monk” ended its eight-season run with a bang, becoming the most-watched hourlong series on basic cable.

The Friday series finale of the USA Network dramedy drew about 9.4 million viewers, 3.2 million of them in the adults 18-49 demographic.

It is the largest audience and demo turnout to date, not only for the show and for a USA scripted series but also for a drama series on basic cable, eclipsing the 9.2 million mark for TNT’s “The Closer.”

2:31 pm - Last Episode

eccentricelf23 		New to LJ and decided to post about the finale.

OMIGOSH LAST NIGHT'S EPISODE!!

It was chock full of =O and :D and T^T

haha.

It was so great though! Totally stayed true to Monk and yet kept me on the edge of my seat. The whole plot twist with Molly was awesome! I was kinda worried about what would happen after he solved it, but Molly's gonna keep him busy for a while! <3

And I absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVEDDDD the last few minutes, how they sort of recreated the first intro sequence of the series (They show Monk going through his day to get to a crime scene. Anyone remember? lol) And how they incorporated Randy and Stottlemeyer into that too was cool.

Seriously. ANYONE who likes Monk needs to watch this episode! ^_^

Monk, you will sincerely be missed. But I am so glad everything worked out.
